Developing digital talent 
and creating quality jobs
 

Morocco's growing digital economy is creating an increased demand for professionals with advanced skills in areas such as artificial intelligence, data science and software development. Yet, a mismatch between young people’s qualifications and employer’s needs makes it difficult for them to enter the labour market. Among the groups that are particularly underrepresented in the digital and technology sector are women and people with disabilities. This gap highlights the clear need for training opportunities that are inclusive and equip disadvantaged groups to participate in Morocco’s digital future. 

Recognising these challenges, Invest for Jobs supports Peaqock Financials' expansion of its Coding Tech training centre. As a Moroccan fintech company specialising in artificial intelligence, data science and machine learning solutions, Peaqock Financials is well positioned to teach, advise and support young people seeking to work in the digital economy. In its Coding Tech training centre, participants receive support to strengthen their technical and professional skills and improve their soft skills. In addition, they are connected with quality employment opportunities within the areas of their specialisations.

The project supports the Coding Tech training centre in expanding its range of training courses and delivering high-quality training programmes aligned with labour market needs. This lays the foundation for young people to access employment opportunities in Morocco’s growing digital sector. 

Coding Tech's training programme combines technical training and practical learning for high-demand fields such as artificial intelligence, data science and digital technologies. It does not only equip young Moroccans with digital skills, but also trains them in employability-focussed, professional skills needed in the labour market. 

Through its trainings, Peaqock Financials and Coding Tech aim to promote equal access to careers in the digital economy for young Moroccans. Women and people with disabilities are encouraged to participate in Coding Tech’s offers and opportunities. By developing a stronger pipeline of diverse, digital talent, the programme responds not only to the company's own growing demand for skilled professionals but also contributes to the development of Morocco's digital ecosystem.
