At age 24, Yassine Benkirane from Oujda, Morocco, has built a path shaped by determination and a passion for information systems. After earning a baccalaureate in Physical Sciences and realising that his initial field of study did not match his ambitions, he redirected his efforts towards IT. He obtained a diploma as a specialised technician in computer networks and later pursued an engineering degree in computer science and networks, specialising in a programme that combines IT and business administration.
Despite his efforts and several internships, moving into the job market in Morocco proved challenging. At the end of one of his placements, no employment opportunity was confirmed, leaving him in a period of uncertainty. Rather than letting this situation discourage him, he chose to see it as an opportunity to grow. It was during this pivotal moment that he discovered Coding Tech, an intensive professional training academy based in Casablanca, Morocco. Specialising in three-month "bootcamp" style programmes designed for rapid career entry into the technology sector, the academy provides trainings in Full-Stack Development, Artificial Intelligence, and DevOps. By offering training for Moroccan candidates with a background in higher education and providing both on-site and hybrid learning options, the curriculum is specifically designed to ensure industry readiness.
Reflecting on that moment, Yassine explains: “Before joining Coding Tech, my situation was quite unclear. I had just finished my internship, and everything was still ‘in progress’ without any real certainty. I decided to join Coding Tech as a personal challenge, with a clear objective – to strengthen my technical skills, improve soft skills, and push myself to be among the best.”

Over three months, he took part in intensive practical sessions, teamwork exercises, and real-life project simulations designed to mirror professional environments.
Guided by experienced professionals and Tech Leads, Yassine progressed quickly and gained confidence. The hands-on training, real business cases, and continuous feedback from Peaqock’s Tech Leads helped him acquire the exact technical and interpersonal skills sought after in the job market.
Yassine also took part in a real digital project where he acted both as Product Owner and full-stack developer, helping him develop communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and effective prioritisation. This combination of technical depth, project experience, and improved communication skills gave him a clear advantage during job interviews.
A highlight of his journey was his participation in an AI hackathon, where his team developed an innovative solution to optimise traffic flow using artificial intelligence. Their project won first place. This achievement further strengthened his profile, proving his ability to solve problems under pressure – a key skill valued by employers in the digital sector.
A career launched and ambitions focused on long-term growth
Today, Yassine has begun his career in software development within the banking and insurance sector, a position he feels fully prepared for thanks to the practical training and mentorship he received at Coding Tech. He designs and improves digital solutions while learning from experienced professionals. He aims to deepen his expertise and progress both technically and personally, while supporting other young people who, like him, want to grow in the digital field.
