Call for Applications for green SMEs in Ghana

Join our 2022 Green SME Networking Festivals in Accra and Kumasi!

Invest for Jobs is organising “Green SME Networking Festivals” from July 27-29 in Accra and August 17-19 in Kumasi to support green small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) towards the creation of green and decent jobs in Ghana. Apply now and enjoy networking opportunities, business games, pitch competitions, exhibitions and more.

200 eco-friendly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from various sectors will be selected to participate in the 3-day events scheduled in Accra and Kumasi. Other organisations expected to participate include market enablers, development organisations, financial institutions, investors and regulatory bodies.

With its festivals, Invest for Jobs intends to help SMEs to create jobs by developing their business model in an eco-friendly way.

Activities at the 3-day festivals will include:

  • Business games and workshops on various topics including circular economy
  • Networking opportunities with other SMEs, investors, financial institutions and other partner organisations
  • A business pitch competition – through which 20 winners (10 per festival) will be granted technical and financial assistance towards the acquisition of certification with the Ghana Standards Authority and the Food and Drugs Authority
  • Exhibition opportunity for participating SMEs to showcase their services and products

You may apply, if

  • You are a growth-oriented Ghanaian SME from the manufacturing sectors (the focus is on agri-business, textile & fashion and cosmetics)
  • You are interested in eco-friendly manufacturing
